SIAA is A National Insurance Agency alliance. SIAA is comprised of large Strategic Master Agencies (SMA’s) that are very successful, highly reputable and strategically located throughout the United States.
Through its Strategic Master Agencies, SIAA offers growth and profit opportunities to smaller independent Agencies who want to be competitive and remain independent. Captives, producers and Direct Writers can become instant independent Agents.
SIAA is building a national insurance distribution network comprised of Strategic
Master Agencies which support their own network of Independent Strategic Members (ISM’s). The critical mass (premium) generated by SIAA and its Members results in many opportunities not available on a stand along basis.
In 1983, the Masiello Insurance Agency formed the Satellite Agency Network Group, Inc. (SAN Group) in response to a changing independent Agency system. At that time, many smaller agencies were finding it difficult to obtain company appointments, meet volume requirements and be competitive with the larger local agencies.
At the urging of company executives, consultants and other independent Agency leaders, SIAA was created in 1994. Modeled after the success of the SAN Group, the same systems, procedures and contracts were replicated with SIAA. As the concept took hold, SIAA began to establish Strategic Master Agencies throughout the country.
Since 1997, SIAA has grown to over $4.6 Billion in premium produced by over 3,700 Independent Insurance Agency Members located in 48 States, with only 11 domestic Property and Casualty Insurance Companies writing more premium than SIAA!
SIAA averages over $600 million in premium growth and over 300 new Independent Insurance Agency Members annually! On average, one new Agency joins a SIAA Master Agency Network each business day!
The SIAA business plan calls for a network of 4,500 Independent Insurance Agencies producing in excess of $20 billion in premium!
SIAA is not a franchise, cluster or aggregator. SIAA Master Agencies gain much more independence as members of a large national network.
InsurCorp Agency Alliance became an SIAA Master Agency in December, 1999.
